DMZ needs an update of about 45 GB, and the preload is open. Small backend updates went out on 19 October to get ready for early access.
Update 1.110
The first title update is about 700 MB on PS5 and only fixes issues in the campaign credits. After installing it, some players got stuck on “Opening Menu” when starting the campaign; as of 20 October there was no fix yet.
Meta and tier list
The launch weapon cards are out, with unlock levels, level caps and more reserve ammo. Damage numbers for launch are not published yet, so the multiplayer tier list still rests on the final beta (last tuning 31 Aug). Expect the meta to shift in the first one to two weeks after launch.
Settings and Firing Range
Set up your controls and graphics with the settings guide. Then take your build into the Firing Range: it shows kills, accuracy, damage and time to kill on screen, with dummies at 10, 25, 50 and 100 m wearing up to three plates, and you can swap loadouts in place.

The MrBeast x DMZ creator challenge “If You Escape, You Win $1,000,000” went live on 19 October: ten teams start in DMZ with $100,000 each and steal cash and dog tags before they exfil. The team with the most money wins $1,000,000. Dubbed versions follow on 23 October.
